The FortiMail equipment can bloc (clean ANTISPAM) after these criterias:
- TOP-LEVEL Domain ( example : .xyz, .guru, .fun…)
- Email address ( example : @example.com )
- Key words ( example : “viseaza sa fie slabi”, “stop snoring”…)
- SURBL and DNSBL ( database with IP / domains which are blacklisted because of spam at different providers for example Spamhaus, Spamcop... )
- SPF, DKIM, DMARC check
- Attachment block via AntiVirus
To improve the antispam filters, you can open whenever you want a ticket and give us these details:
Date, email address from whom you receive (sender) and/or keywords after we can create a new filtering rule.
Antispam filters are updated daily, SURBL and DNSBL automatically and all other filter manually.
Considering the fact the filtering is done for our entire network and for all the clients, there is a possibility that a some emails are blocked by mistake (false-positive).
If you don't get an email, please open a ticket with these details :
- Date
- Email address from whom you receive (sender)
- Email address who is receiving (receiver)
So we can verify and fix the rule/error of the equipment.
